Researcher Shop

The Researcher Shop is located in the Main Machine Shop high-bay and is available for qualified and authorized researchers and students to perform relatively simple machining projects themselves. The shop is overseen by an experienced machinist prepared to offer set-up and machining advice for simpler projects as well as direct the researcher or student to the appropriate help as project complexity increases.

The Researcher Shop is fully tooled and equipped with a Bridgeport milling machine, an engine lathe, a tool room lathe, drill press and several lesser items.
