Purpose of knowledge article
This knowledge article will provide information on how to check a Lab-issued Dell laptop or Apple laptop battery health.
Resolution
| 1 | Under your Start Menu button, look for "Dell Power Manager" and open it |

| 2 | Under the Battery Information tab, you will see a link that says Battery Health |

| 3 | Compare what you see for Battery Health to the chart |

Please note if your battery health shows Fair or below. Contact Lab IT at [email protected] and include:
- Lab username and employee ID number
- Computer DOE number
- Project-activity ID number (9-digit)
- Contact phone number
