Web Interface: username

If you access Gmail (or other Google Apps) via the web interface, your username is simply username, (e.g. jsmith).

  1. Use your existing Berkeley Lab LDAP password to sign in to Berkeley Lab Google Apps services (e.g. Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Sites).
  2. When you sign in you will be redirected to the Lab's central login facility, login.lbl.gov.
  3. If you are already signed in to a Berkeley Lab web service that uses Single Sign On (such as Commons, the Lab's central wiki), you will automatically be signed in to Gmail.)
Not Web Interface: [email protected]

If you access Gmail (or other Google Apps) using methods besides the webinterface, your username is [email protected], (e.g. [email protected]).

The most common use case for this is if you access Gmail with an email client or your iPhone.
