    Network ID: eduroam

    CA certificate: Unspecified (or None)

    EAP Method Type: 21/TTLS

    Phase 2 authentication/Inner EAP Method Type: 1/PAP

This is the best way to configure your device when the CAT app does not work. The screenshots are from a Samsung Galaxy S4. Your device may vary slightly than what is shown. Android devices may require more attempts to made it work as it's the least mature as far as device support from Eduroam is concerned.
