Introduction

Berkeley Lab IT is continually striving to enhance computer security, provide a better user experience and lower costs to stretch dollars for science. One way to achieve all three objectives is the migration away from standard Windows or Mac computer to a Chrome OS device. User authentication will be simplified enabling users to only remember their Berkeley Lab Identity username and password. No need to remember Active Directory account credentials or local username and password.
