When doing this, it is best to use Google Chrome in Incognito mode. Before you change your Berkeley Lab Identity account password, make sure to do the MFA bypass first so you can log back into your Google Authenticator app after MFA Bypass Instructions

1	Go to the website https://password.lbl.gov.
2	Select "I forgot my password or it expired, so I need a reset code." Note For expired passwords, this will only work if within 10 days of expiration. If past 10 days, call 510-486-4357 or chat (to start chatting, click on the icon in the bottom right of this page).
3	Confirm that you are not a robot and click Begin.
4	Enter your Berkeley Lab username and click Next.
5	Select the desired contact method and click Next.
6	You will received receive a reset code on the contact method you selected previously. Type in your Berkeley Lab username and the reset code.
7	Create a brand new password that is with at least 14 characters that you have not use used with the lab Lab before and click Save.
8	If your password is accepted, you will see a message saying your password has successfully been changed.	No image
