h2.POLICY
h3.A. Purpose
This policy describes the function and operation of the Berkeley Lab Guest House.
h3.B. Persons Affected
Persons who have need overnight lodging while conducting business with Berkeley Lab, DOE, UC Berkeley, 
or other UCOP entities and need overnight lodging.
h3.C. Exceptions
None
h3.D. Policy Statement
# *Eligible Visitors*
## Eligible visitors include individuals or groups who have business with Berkeley Lab, DOE, UC Berkeley, or other UCOP entities
## All visitors must provide host information at the time of making a reservation. 
## Pets and children under the age of 18 are not permitted.
# *Check-in*
## Check-in time is at or after 3 p.m., and the registration desk is open 24 hours each day. 
## Accepted payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, company checks, and direct billing (for established accounts only). Checks must be made out to "UC Regents."
# *Check-out*
## Check-out time is by 12 p.m. 
## Vehicles and luggage may be left at the facility beyond check-out time based on storage space and parking availability.
# *Cancellation.* Reservation cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a one-night room charge.
# *General*
## The Guest House is a smoke-free facility. 
## Packages and material related to work are not accepted for delivery at the Guest House and must be sent to the department hosting the visitor's stay.
## Daily mail service is provided Monday through Friday.
