Many of the things we do to ensure roadway safety have become second nature and may have become almost imperceptible. But for the next few weeks this contest is your opportunity to focus on what we do right. So, look around and zoom in on what is important to your sense of roadway safety.

One person will win the contest, but the entire Lab community wins when we do the right thing in keeping ourselves and each other safe. For the contest – and all the time – let’s keep our eyes on the road and look out for each other.

Submissions may address some or all of the entities that share the road at or on the way to Berkeley Lab, including:

• Pedestrians

• Wheelchairs
• Bikes
• Wildlife
• Skateboards/scooters (not allowed on site!)
• Motorcycles
• Shuttle buses
• Delivery trucks
• GEMs
• Construction crews and equipment
• Cars
