• A guide on how to troubleshoot when a Dell laptop webcam is showing a black image

• Some of Dell's laptop webcam come with a builtin privacy shutter/slider that allows the user to slide over the webcam when not in use
  
  

• When the privacy shutter is covering the webcam, the webcam will produce a black image
• Remember to slide the privacy shutter to uncover the webcam when you are using the webcam
