Business Case
There is a large amount of knowledge within the JGI that is siloed among groups and not accessible to the wider JGI. Making this knowledge more easily accessible would allow everyone to find the information they require themselves, and not be blocking waiting on someone else, or finding the correct person to ask.
Objective Statement
The aim of this project is create and implement a JGI knowledge base. The outcome is a central location where all JGIers can find or post information.
Project Statement
Performance and success can be measured across a few metrics:
- Number of users visiting the site each day
- Number of questions being posted to the site
- Number of answers being posted to the site
Project Scope
The scope of this is limited to only an internal site where people can post questions or create documentation.
