Service Summary

  • Doodle is a scheduling service that allows you to poll prospective attendees for times and dates that are meeting alternatives. Doodle is free but also has a premium service that provides additional capabilities.
  • Berkeley lab has a subscription (which we renew annually)
  • Users can create polls and invite anyone to participate.  Participants do not need a doodle account.
  • Users can elect to integrate with Google Calendar. This allows you to see your Google Calendar and make optional date and time choices in the calendar interface.

To use the Berkeley Lab premium version to create polls

  1. Go to lbnl.doodle.com
  2. Click Log in
  3. Click Continue with Google button (this will allow you to use your lbl credentials).  If you are not already logged in, just enter your lbl email address and it will send you to our authentication system)
  4. Hover over the profile pic in the upper right and click on Account Settings
  5. Click on Subscriptions
  6. Click on the dropdown box and select "Premium Doodle - Licensee | LBNL". ( the default is a free account)
