Subject: Berkeley Lab Grammarly License Transition

Dear Grammarly User,

You are receiving this email because you are currently using and paying for a Grammarly license.  The IT Division has negotiated a licensing agreement with Grammarly to provide Grammarly licenses at $144 per user per year. This agreement comes with several benefits, including:

  • The ability to use single sign-on to access Grammarly.
  • Enhanced security features.
  • Centralized billing of the annual license using a Project and Activity ID.

Action Plan

The Collaboration Services Team will transition your license to the Berkeley Lab enterprise license plan on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Your Action Items

Please fill out the Grammarly License Request Form at https://forms.gle/ghNJPDo6NzSn2Jir5 and provide a Project and Activity ID to charge the cost of your license.

The form also provides the means to decline purchasing a license, but bear in mind that you will lose access to your Grammarly account when IT transitions all Grammarly Lab users to the Lab's enterprise plan.

Starting November 15, 2024, users that have provided a PID will be able to log in to Grammarly using their Lab credentials. Users who have not filled out the form by November 15, 2024 will be able to login using their existing Grammarly credentials until all accounts have been transitioned to the Lab's enterprise plan.

If you have questions, please reply to this email.

Please be advised that IT does not provide training or support for Grammarly.  For additional information and resources, visit https://go.lbl.gov/grammarly.

Sincerely,

The Collaboration Services Team
