There are two ways that a person might be invited to access a bitbucket account.
- Request a new repository from the IT Division Help Desk (at help.lbl.gov)
- Get an invitation from a repository owner who wants to collaborate with you on a common project.
In either case, you will get an email invitation with a link. The screen shots below will show you the sequence in which the account is activated.
If you already have a private account with Bitbucket you will see the image below.
Alternatively, you may be asked to set up a new account. Click the appropriate options to proceed and create a new account.
If all goes well, you will be able to access the repository and should see something like the screenshot below.
