Purpose of Knowledge Article:
If you do not see the option to allow Google Drive extension under System Preferences >>> Security & Privacy >>> General tab >>> Allow apps downloaded from section:
Resolution:
1 | Reboot your macOS into recovery mode | |
2 | In the Menu bar, under Utilities, launch the Terminal and type in the following command and hit enter: kmutil trigger-panic-medic -R "Volumes/Macintosh HD" Note: Change Macintosh HD to your volume name | |
3 | Reboot the computer. Upon reboot, you will be prompted with the message "Panic Medic Boot", which you may ignore | no image |
4 | Go to System Preferences >>> Security & Privacy >>> General tab >>> Allow apps downloaded from section and allow the Google Drive extension | no image |
