     Google Cloud Print

     

    Google Cloud Print makes your local and work printers available to you from any Google application. It allows you to print over the web, from anywhere, to any printer.  In order to print using the Google Cloud Print service, you must connect your printer to a service.  Printing can only be done from within an app on the device.  You will need Google Chrome installed on your computer to do this.



    Connect a Printer
     

    1. Log in to your user account on the Windows or Mac computer.

    2. Open Google Chrome (or install the browser from here).

    3. Click the Chrome menu    on the browser toolbar. (upper right corner}.

    4. Select Settings.

    5. Scroll down to Advanced settings and Click to expand. 

    6. Scroll down to Printing section and Click “Google Cloud Print”. Click Manage.

    7. Click Add Printers.

    8. If prompted, sign in with your Google Account. (name@lbl.gov)

    9. If prompted, sign in with your LDAP Account.

    10. Click Add printer(s).

    11. Any printer connected to the computer (local, network) will be listed.

    12. Uncheck any printers not needed (all devices are selected by default) 

    13. Click Add printers.

    14. IMPORTANT: Read the TIP that appears.

    15. Printers are now ready for use.

    Add or delete printers using these steps

    1. Go to: https://www.google.com/cloudprint

    2. Click Printers

    3. Add or delete printers as needed




    Toshiba e-BRIDGE Print & Capture

     

    Toshiba e-BRIDGE Print & Capture is an application that allows you to print to an available Toshiba printer from your mobile device. Note that printing is not to be started directly from within the e-BRIDGE app except for when you want to print photos stored on your device.


    Installing Toshiba e-BRIDGE Print & Capture

    Follow the steps at right for installing the application on your device.

    NOTE: If multiple printers are configured, user can select printer by tapping on bar showing available printers and swiping down.

    1. Download the free e-BRIDGE Print & Capture app from the Apple App Store on your iOS device

    2. To add a Toshiba printer, tap on Scan

    3. Tap Manual

    4. Enter the IP Address or Hostname of the printer you wish to add then tap Discover (be sure to include lbl.gov if entering the Hostname).

    5. Your new printer will now appear.

    Printing Photos Stored on Your Device

    Will only print photos stored on your devices using the native camera.

    User must grant access to their Photos for the app to print them.

    1. Open e-BRIDGE app, then tap Photos.

    2. Allow e-BRIDGE to access your Photos.

    3. Tap on the photo you wish to print from the camera roll.
    Apps Not Compatible With e-BRIDGE Print & Capture
    These apps are not compatible with the Toshiba eBRIDGE Print & Capture.

    • Email (native to device)

    • Google Mail

    • Maximo

    • Safari

    • Firefox

    • Chrome
