Purpose of KA:

Transfer Google Authenticator Codes to a new mobile device

Resolution:

See instruction on how to Get codes to a new mobile device and expand "Transfer Google Authenticator codes to a new phone" section.

You can't.

If you get a new phone, there is no way to transfer your information from MFA token from your old phone to your new phone.

The correct course of action is to setup MFA on your new phone using Google Authenticator setup.

During this process, make sure you delete your old token in "Manage your LBL tokens" at https://identity.lbl.gov/mfa/
