Cause

A known cause is when the Login Items and Extensions permission was not provided correctly during CrowdStrike Falcon installation.

Resolution

1Click on the Apple icon in the top right corner

2Select System Settings
3Select General on the left column

4Select Login Items & Extensions on the right column
5Under the Login Items & Extensions page, scroll down to the Extensions section and look for Endpoint Security Extensions

Click the Image Added icon to the right of Endpoint Security Extensions

Slide the toggle to turn it on for Falcon

Type in your computer password

Click OK

Once you done the fix, the Customer ID Checksum (CCID) will change to this. Notice that the two fields will be filled with the text "Already licensed, please continue"

Click Continue and you are done
