Welcome to the new LBNL Reading Lounge webpage. The physical location for the Reading Lounge is 54-002, or also known as the "Room under the Cafeteria".
The space was funded by the LBNL Dirctorate and opened April 11, 2011.
The spiffy remodeled space houses a new collection of books and a comfortable sitting area for reading and/or small group discussions. We have wi-fi and two alcoves for laptops and multiple power outlets are available throughout the room. There is also a large screen monitor for presentations.
The book collection primarily supports Carbon Cycle 2.0 Initiatives, but other topics are also included. In the coming months, we will be adding more books that cover introductory materials to help bring readers up to speed in areas of study in Carbon Cycle 2.0.
The room is open 7-6 Monday through Friday.
Closed beverage containers welcome but not food.
