The Machine Tool Repair Shop's primary mission is providing maintenance and repair support to the Engineering Division's manufacturing infrastructure. The shop is also available to other divisions, programs and projects to perform maintenance and repair services on a wide array of machine tools and like mechanical equipment and devices.
Services include:
- Machine tool maintenance, repair and minor re-furbishing
- Precision leveling and alignment of mechanical components and assemblies
- Design and manufacture of specialized machining equipment
- Preparation, moving, installation and set-up of machine tools and like equipment
