Project Managers must ensure that they are continuously aware of the status of their projects, including significant problems related to scope, schedule, and cost.

If a Project Manager identifies a new problem but is convinced that the problem can be readily solved in a day or so, common sense dictates solving the problem quickly without involving the client. However, if, after a day or so, a solution has not been found, the Project Manager must notify the client, and Project Director of the problem.

Project Managers (and Construction Managers if applicable) must resolve all safety deficiencies and other EHS issues identified during the project.
