Overview
The call out feature in Zoom allows you (and participants of your hosted meetings) to dial participants into meetings by "calling out" to telephone lines from the Zoom application. There is a per minute charge associated with this feature.
Summary of Changes
- IT will recharge the cost associated with using the "Call Out" feature starting on June 30, 2022
- The cost depends on the location of the participant being dialed into the meeting and the number of minutes they spend in the meeting
- The per minute cost is recharged by IT software licensing to the PID associated with your lbl.gov Zoom account
Call Out Users Renewal
- If you have this feature enabled, complete this form by June 30, 2022 to retain it
- The Call Out feature will be disabled after this date for accounts that have not responded
- To enable the Call Out feature after June 30, 2022, submit a request to [email protected]
Invite by Contacts Alternative
- An alternative to using the Call Out Users feature is to invite participants to join your meetings using the "Contacts" tab
- There is no cost to use the contacts option
