LBL Google Account users
Your LBL Gmail account provides self-service forwarding.
You can change where your @lbl.gov email address delivers at https://mail.google.com/a/lbl.gov/#settings/fwdandpop
Instruction on how to setup email forwarding from @lbl.gov to your desired email address: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/10957
Non-LBL Google Account addresses
If you want an @lbl.gov address that forwards elsewhere but is not tied to an individual Google account, the best solution is generally a Google Group. A Group has an address <mygroup>@lbl.gov and is configurable to forward to other email addresses, along with many other features such as archiving the email, auto-appending text to each email, etc. You can self-create Groups at https://identity.lbl.gov/creategroups
In rare cases, a Google Group may not meet your needs, or you may wish to modify a legacy mail forward configuration. In that case, contact the Help Desk (http://help.lbl.gov, 510-486-4357)
