Resolution
- On the device that you want to connect to the Lab visitor wireless network, look for "lbnl-open". Click on it and wait for it to connect, that is it
- No password is required to connect to the Lab visitor wireless network - lbnl-open
Having trouble connecting to lbnl-open network
- Trying turning off any network configuration on your device like:
- Manual IP address
- Firewall
- Proxy
- Etc...
- Try restarting your device
- For Windows computers, connected, but having issues accessing the network/internet. Launch the Command Prompt and try:
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
The old lbnl-visitor network is still available but deprecated – it will be retired sometime in 2027 and the coverage, performance, and security for the lbnl-open network should always be better than the old, deprecated lbnl-visitor network.
