Purpose of Knowledge Article
- Provide fixes for issues:
- Apple devices (computer, and iPhone/iPad) that can connect to the LBL network but are having trouble accessing the internet even though their computer is not blocked
- Apple devices (computer, and iPhone/iPad) that can not access the internet on the computer after installing Eduroam Wireless Profile
- Apple devices (computer, and iPhone/iPad) that are having trouble connecting to the Eduroam network
Resolution
1 | Open up System Preferences from the Apple icon on the top left corner |

2 | Select Network | |
3 | Click the Lock icon |

4 | Type in your computer password | |
5 | Click Unlock | |
6 | Click Advanced | |
7 | Select the Proxies tab |
|
8 | Uncheck the box for "Auto Proxy Discovery" | |
9 | Click OK | |
10 | Click Apply |

1 | Open up Settings |

2 | Click Wi-Fi |
|
3 | Click the blue 'i' icon for Eduroam Wi-Fi |
|
4 | Click Configure Proxy |
|
5 | Select Off |

6 | Click Save |
