ITE-4 Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb allows incoming calls to be processed as if all extensions on that phone were busy.  If the extension being called also goes through to another phone, Do Not Disturb operates as a bell cutoff switch, and the second phone continues to receive calls for the shared extension. 

To activate Do Not Disturb:

1. Lift the handset.
2. You should hear the dial tone.
3. Press * 6.
4. You should hear two beeps.
5. Hang up.

To deactivate Do Not Disturb:

1. Lift the handset.
2. You should hear, “Private. Private.”
3. Press # 6.
4. You should hear two beeps.
5. Hang up.
