The LBNL Library has a large and growing array of e-book collections available to LBNL users.  These can be accessed through the OskiCat/Melvyl library catalogs.  We also have access to non-scientific e-books that are not indicated here.  (The OskiCat/Melvyl catalogs are for both UCB and LBNL book, e-book, and journal collections.  UCB has subscriptions to e-book collections that LBNL does not.  Unfortunately, the catalogs do not indicate whether LBNL has a subscription to a specific e-book or not, and for those we don”t, you will not be able to download the e-book/chapter and/or may be asked for a username/password.  The e-book/chapter will not be available from LBNL.)

  • Project Muse:   Provides access to many science-based e-books from a variety of academic presses    

  • UC Press E-Books Collection (1982-2004): includes almost 2,000 books from academic presses on a range of topics.

  • Wiley Online Library: The international scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons.
