The LBNL Library provides help with EndNote and EndNote Web.  (LBNL employees can purchase EndNote via the link to the left; click the link, and on the IT software downloads page, do a search for "EndNote" in the "Search LBNL Software" search box.)

EndNote is a bibliographic management tool that allows you to compile, create, and organize bibliographic references and build a bibliographic database.  All your references are in one location.  EndNote is fully integrated with Microsoft Word.   This integration creates citations for you as you write a paper according to the style output you have selected, i.e. JACS or PubMed.  Another feature is searching online catalogs and/or databases such as the Library of Congress, PubMed or Web Of Science.

EndNote provides technical support and updated filters and connection files and detailed tutorials that you can view and/or download.
