In early March Google confirmed a serious Chrome security issue, CVE-2019-5786. This security vulnerability is a memory management error that can enable the execution of malicious code on a user’s computer, see Google reveals Chrome zero-day active attacks. Berkeley Lab’s Cybersecurity recommends that users immediately update their Chrome browsers.

A user can easily update Chrome by restarting the Chrome application. For your reference Google provides detailed instructions, here.
