How am I getting to LabTech?

For our external visitors and invited guests, please let us know how you plan to get to LabTech (e.g., driving, shuttle, taxi, biking, etc.) by filling out our Transportation form below. This will prompt us to make the needed arrangements for your arrival! Please do this before Thursday, October 6th.

Berkeley Lab is located on the hillside directly above the campus of the
University of California at Berkeley. Our address is 1 Cyclotron Road,
Berkeley CA 94720.


LBNL Shuttle

Berkeley Lab provides on-site/off-site shuttle service and travels along the perimeter of the University of California at Berkeley campus to Downtown Berkeley. Please fill out our Transportation form if you plan to use our shuttle service and we'll make sure your name is added to the shuttle list. Upon boarding, you will be required to show a picture ID (e.g., CDL) to ride the shuttle to the Lab. For our UCB attendees, we have been advised by our Site Access Office that a shuttle pass is required for you to board. Please make sure you fill out the Transportation form to be added to the shuttle list.

Please be aware that due to BART's renovation of the Downtown Berkeley station starting in the Summer 2016, some BART station entrances will be closed, and some bus stops will be moved. The BART Passenger Bulletin is here.


If you plan to drive, please fill out the Transportation Form above. Note that due to multiple construction projects taking place at Berkeley Lab, parking is limited so allow for plenty of time. All parking passes will be issued as “General Parking”. We recommend parking at the following parking lots:

B1, and J

Event Map

LabTech will take place in multiple conference rooms in buildings 505970,and 70A. Vendor tents will be located in the H2 Parking Lot.
