Modular office systems enable maximum use of space
The Facilities Planning Department is responsible for implementing the Space Advisory Committee’s (SPAC) recommendations.
The department manages and maintains institutional data regarding space assignments. Lab staff can create space reports and associated key plans by building and floor. Office space metrics provide a summary of Berkeley Lab’s space allocation guidelines; space types define the different spaces found at the lab.
We are also responsible for reviewing project plans for compatibility with the room numbering guidelines.
