The Facilities Planning Department maintains and updates Key Plans for all Laboratory buildings.

Key Plans are floor plans showing primary architectural elements of each building by floor level. They graphically represent walls, doors, windows, room numbers, and other features.

Key Plan reports are available with varying levels of detail:

  • Base Key Plan: room number, square footage
  • Division Allocation Key Plan: room number, square footage, space use and division allocation. Report color-coded by division.
  • Employee Location Key Plan: room number, square footage, space use, division allocation and employee name
  • Space Use Key Plan: room number, square footage, space use.  Report color-coded by space use.

Room use, occupant, division assignment, and area are available by accessing the Key Plan’s corresponding space reports.

Key Plans can be accessed via any Laboratory-connected computer. To access a Key Plan, enter the building and floor in the Key Plan Lookup, select desired Key plan report, and click on “Submit Query.” You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view online key plans. You can download the free Reader at the Adobe website.
