As part of its Openness Initiative, the Department of Energy has developed the OpenNet database to provide easy, timely access to recently declassified information, including information declassified in response to Freedom of Information Act requests. The database includes references to all documents declassified and made publicly available after October 1, 1994. Since 1995, the Berkeley Lab Archives and Records Office, in support of the Openness Initiative, has contributed cataloging records for recently declassified documents to the OpenNet database.
To retrieve the cataloging records for recently declassified Berkeley Lab documents, enter OOB* in the Accession Number field of the OpenNet Database Search Form.
